This candle should be number 1. It has a strong throw, but it’s the softest, most comforting scent you will ever experience. It’s worth every penny and I highly recommend trying this. "I buy all sorts of fragrances since my partner and I have opposite tastes, and so when I blind-bought KOBO's Vetiver Shaved Vanilla, I wanted to see if a compromise could ever be reached: Would it be possible to combine my adoration for amber and vetiver with his desire for vanilla, and reach mutual pleasure?? Let's find out! Unlit, the vetiver leans citrusy and gives a lovely contrast to the amber and vanilla, and all is perfectly in proportion in the cold wax. As the candle burns, I am reminded of how much I love the warmth and comfort of amber, and I am also beginning to appreciate the vanilla, which is kept nicely in check by the amber and vetiver. This vanilla is more seductive than gourmand; a friend likened this to the provocative perfume his college girlfriend wore (side note: he immediately jumped into his phone to purchase one for himself after experiencing this candle lit in my home). As the candle continues to burn, I feel like the vetiver sits softly in the background on this one, illuminating the amber and vanilla as the stars of the show. And does this scent satisfy my other half? I am happy to share that yes, he was very pleased, as I found him ignoring the other candles in our collection and choosing this one to light up. He is man of few words, though, so I can only relay that he "likes it"."
